Martin Heidegger's Sein und Zeit, first published in 1927, examines the question of Being through an analysis of Dasein, including being-in-the-world, care, death, and temporality. The work consists of an introduction and two divisions, with an appendix containing marginal notes from the author's personal copy. This is the 17th edition, published in 1993 as an unchanged reprint of the 15th edition, which was reviewed against the collected works.
