ヴァージニア・ウルフの著作とその刊行記録を体系的に整理した書誌。1957年に初版が刊行され、1967年の第2版を経て、本書は1980年に刊行された第3版にあたる。本書の書誌編纂はレナード・ウルフの同意と協力のもとで進められ、第3版では彼の死後に利用可能となった日記やMonk's House Papersなどの資料も反映されている。本文は「Books and Pamphlets」から始まり、書籍への寄稿とウルフによる翻訳、雑誌・新聞への寄稿、外国語訳、海外版、書簡を収録した書籍・論文、手稿などを整理する。初期の英米版については詳細な書誌情報を記録し、異版やテキスト上の異同に関する研究も該当作品の項目に記載されている。巻末には索引を備え、図版3葉と本文中の図版を収録する。
